#61 - Moving and First-Class!

Vol. 61

Here I am flying back now to Toronto!

Thank you so much for your prayers as I helped my parents in the process of relocating from Trinidad to Toronto.
Let me say how much I appreciate your prayers.

For those of you who have downsized or have moved and had to make choices of what to keep and what to dispose of, I applaud you all!
It is difficult after accumulating so much over the years to now make the choice of keeping, or selling certain items!  My parents have had to say goodbye to greatly cherished items that have been in our home for over 20 years.
In the week I have been here, it has been a hectic one of receiving people who came to look at items for sale, to prepare the hundred or so books to give to churches, to the hundreds of pictures to be sorted out.
Dust accumulates on so many things!

Praise items: The legal papers have been signed and prepared. God has gone before in so many ways to prepare the way; the sale of the car; the switching over of insurance from seller to buyer; notifying the utility companies of the move; reminder to postal office about the mail etc.
My parents were reminded of the details to be completed and we were able to do the necessary appointments to the above companies!

Praise: My parents are finishing well here, with family and friends dropping by to give their blessing. There have been tears but laughter as well!

Prayer: For continued energy and perseverance for my parents. For continued wisdom as they tie up loose ends. My parents will be here on April 1st.

Prayer: Wisdom as my siblings and I try to find the best possible place for my parents here in Toronto and then the task of furnishing it for them.

Prayer: For me as I continue to prepare for my return to Cambodia, the land that He has given to me!

As you read this I am back and will be meeting with the Missions Leadership Team.

I want to thank you for your patience and prayers as I prepare to go back. I am humbled by the words of encouragement and your continued support for me.
I will give you the latest update on this process as soon as I am able!

Dancing to the beat of His heart,
Love, Sister Vidya

P.S.: I am writing this on the airplane and guess what? As I was sitting in the middle seat (all aisle and window seats were taken!), waiting for the plane to take off, the flight attendant came to me and asked if I would follow her. Now here I am sitting in first class! SERIOUSLY! My cousin made it possible! Bless him!

#60 - Prayers for Heart and Home

Vol. 60

I am sorry for not writing sooner!

Heart:
Thank you so much for your continued prayers for my next steps in Cambodia.
God has been speaking into my heart about the importance of learning the heart language. Listening to my sisters Myrna Maxey and Kathryn Cassidy pray so eloquently in their heart languages just confirmed His calling to study Khmer, my heart language in Cambodia!

Home:
Can I ask for your continued prayers as my parents have asked me to go to Trinidad to help them? Please pray for wisdom and discernment as we dispose of furniture etc. and with legal issues.
I leave on March 5th (I get there on the 6th) and return on March 11th!

We are still looking for a place for them to rent as of April 1st. Can I ask you to pray that HE will show us here where that place will be? Thank you so much!

Just a reminder, I will have no access to Wi-Fi/internet when I am there.

Dancing still.

Love, Sister Vidya
