Students and staff, past and present, met at a football field to play traditional Khmer games in honour of the approaching Khmer New Year, while simultaneously celebrating graduation from language school!
So we look sweaty and make-up is no longer on our faces as we posed for our photo shoot that is not at the school this year, so you cannot see the banner and the school logo, but the teachers are wearing their ‘uniform’.
I am very proud of my classmates who were so encouraging and gracious to me! There were no formal parties to celebrate since we were all exhausted, but I did go to lunch with one of my classmates, and I made plans to meet everyone else next week before we go our separate ways.
Thank you for going along on this journey of language studies. The formal part may be over, but the learning is a life-long one! I still covet your prayers on my listening skills!
